A business student at Lewis University in the US has spoken of how much she enjoyed her recent holiday to Dubai, which she embarked upon as part of a project.

Lara Hamdan, 22, headed out to the emirate in February and spent time touring local businesses with her classmates, as well as enjoying activities for fun in her spare time.

She said she found Dubai very international and more casual than she had expected it to be, the Homer Horizon reports.

“I really enjoyed going out, experiencing the culture and the unique architecture. The buildings are just amazing,” Ms Hamdan enthused.

She added that particular highlights of the holiday were a desert safari, a camel ride and time spent skiing indoors.

Murdo Morrison of FlightGlobal.com recently recommended holidays to Dubai as perfect for people who want a luxury destination that offers them plenty to do.

Dubai can be reached by flights on Emirates Airlines or Virgin Atlantic.
