Art Dubai has opened its doors again for the sixth time to showcase the work of emerging artists.

The Art Dubai show has opened its doors for the sixth time and is already attracting huge numbers who are clamouring to see the latest works from emerging artists.

Beginning on March 20th with a preview show for the media, the galleries involved have already been seeing a number of sales taking place.

While the event is aimed primarily at collectors and buyers, several open days are taking place for members of the public including today (March 23rd) and Saturday March 24th.

In total, more than 500 artists are being showcased across 75 galleries.

Antonia Carver, director of the fair, said: “ArtDubai offers a tremendously vital and interactive array of talks, tours, performances, screenings and other opportunities for our guests to engage with contemporary art.”

Dubai’s already impressive range of cultural attractions is to be enhanced further by the announcement earlier this week that a new art museum and opera house are to be constructed.
