However, the sight with the biggest wow-factor according to Mr Barrett is the Burj Dubai tower, which cost approximately £2.75 billion to build and is the tallest man-made structure in the world – standing at 2,684 feet tall.
“Each morning … I would throw back the curtains and stand amazed at the tower, which filled the view from my balcony like a giant rocket ready to blast off,” he explained.
Mr Barrett went on to say that at the moment, there are some really great deals to be found on holidays to Dubai offering “exceptionally good value” – especially on hotel room prices and flights.
