Inter Continental Sydney overhauls its Harbour Room.

The luxurious InterContinental Sydney hotel has unveiled a new room overlooking the city’s famous harbour.

On the 31st floor of the imposing hotel, the Harbour Room has been entirely re-styled with the look and feel of an inner city bar.

The room boasts rich and refreshing upholstery, energy-efficient LED light fittings and a well appointed lounge area with olive carpets.

The design was created by Nic Graham + Associates, who wanted to couple the hotel’s confident and sleek character with an intimate, welcoming setting.

As well as the latest in cutting-edge lighting, the space also makes the most of the dazzling light that Sydney Harbour can often be found basking in.

The Harbour Room could be a great place to watch the Sydney Harbour Regatta, which will pull in huge crowds at the beginning of March.

Registration for the event is about to draw to a close, but if this year’s regatta is anything like last year’s, there will be thousands of competitors taking part.
