Kylie Minogue will be taking to the stage at Sydney Mardi Gras on Saturday March 3rd as part of the biggest day of celebrations.

Fans of Kylie Minogue will be packing on to the streets of Sydney over the weekend as the singer is set to perform at this year’s Mardi Gras festival.

While the news that the songstress was to appear at the event was announced earlier this year, the details of her appearance have just been released.

The main event of the day on March 3rd will be the parade, which starts at 19:45 local time at Oxford and Flinders Streets, before finishing at 22:00.

Kylie will then be headlining the after party at the Hordern Pavillion, with support coming from acts including Chicane and RuPaul.

”Kylie’s music has touched people’s lives and everyone has a memory to a Kylie song. She has never shied away from acknowledging and supporting the gay and lesbian community,” said parade producer Vicktor Petroff.

The Sydney Mardi Gras takes place in the city each year to show its support for the gay community in the city.
