People who enjoy trying out cultural pursuits on their travels could consider holidays to Australia in order to participate in the annual National Multicultural Festival.

Set to take place in Canberra from February 6th to 15th, the event will include street entertainment, performances, film screenings and concerts, as well as an array of foods from around the world for visitors to try.

“As ever, the diverse programme is bursting … [and] will provide a smorgasbord of cultural delights to devour,” the official website states.

Highlights of the festival include a cheeky burlesque review, a food and dance spectacular and a lantern exhibition.

However, since the event is taking place at the height of Australia’s summer, people intending to go are urged to cover up and wear a hat and plenty of sunscreen.
