An authentic local market and a luxury safari camp are just two of the new offerings in Australia’s Northern Territory this April.

Passengers on flights to Australia this April are encouraged to explore the country’s Northern Territory, where there is a wide range of exciting openings taking place.

Travellers are urged to head into the wild for a stay at the state’s latest luxury wildlife retreat, as Wildman Wilderness Lodge is due to open on April 1st.

This top-end destination offers ten cabins and 15 luxury safari tents, allowing you to feel close to the surrounding environment.

Located on the banks of the Mary River half-way between Darwin and Kakadu National Park, there is a wealth of wildlife to explore from this new resort.

Alternatively, if you’re looking for an authentic local shopping experience, then Darwin’s Mindil Beach Sunset Market is definite highlight.

Visitors can snap up a range of authentic goods, such as handmade jewellery, bush art and didgeridoos, after the market re-opens on April 28th.

Shoppers can relax with a massage, have their palms read, or take in the colourful array of live music and performance art from 5pm until 9pm every Thursday and from 4pm to 9pm every Sunday.
