Koh Samui is a location which is always popular with people visiting from the UK.

Taking flights to Koh Samui from the UK is often a very popular choice with travellers looking for a great place to spend time in Thailand.

Dale Keller, spokesperson for Thailand’s new luxury resort Conrad Koh Samui, said that the location is a “perennial favourite” with Brits.

He explained that the rich mixture of culture, history, fun and sunshine will provide something for everyone.

Koh Samui could also provide a fantastic place to spend the Christmas holidays and could leave you feeling refreshed ahead of the start of the new year.

“The sun is shining, everybody is smiling, everybody is happy and there are beautiful beaches. That just gives you a lift at that time of the year,” said Mr Keller.

A recent survey by Conrad suggested many people could be planning to take flights to Koh Samui this year, as over half those questioned said they would consider spending Christmas overseas to escape the stress at home.
