Anyone on flights to Thailand could find famous faces among those in the cabin with them, one newspaper has stated.

People taking flights to Thailand could bump into some celebrities  during their travels, it has been reported.

According to the Sun, Thailand is a great destination to head to for people who want to have some sun, sand, sea and do a bit of celebrity spotting.

Recent visitors to the south-east Asian country include Kate Moss and boyfriend Jamie Hince as well as A-list actor Kevin Spacey and Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet fame, the newspaper noted.

Kate Moss stayed in Phuket during her New Year’s break, while Tony Hadley chose Krabi for his winter getaway.

Last week, a representative from the Tourism Authority of Thailand commented that tourists in the country can expect excellent service wherever they stay, which adds to its appeal as a holiday destination.

It would seem that Thailand is popular with Brits, whether they are famous or not, as figures released by the organisation found that more than 630,000 people travelled to the nation between January and November 2009.
