Thailand is a good holiday choice for British travellers, a journalist has stated.

Thailand has a great deal to offer British holidaymakers, it has been  claimed.

Writing for the News of the World, Jane Atkinson noted that there are many activities for travellers to enjoy, such as taking a ride on an elephant or taking a trek.

Thailand also has a relaxing side and visitors will find numerous spas offering rejuvenating treatments, she commented.

One such place is the La Flora resort, which is located around 100 kilometres away from Phuket.

“I love a good pampering and have travelled far and wide to find the perfect masseur who can unravel the knots in my shoulders,” she added.

Meanwhile, it seems that the country is also something of a celebrity hotspot.

Stars who have recently booked flights to Thailand include models Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, who were spotted holidaying there this month.

Moss reportedly flew out with her musician boyfriend Jamie Hince to celebrate new year.
