Rory Bremner has revealed that he enjoys spending time in Cape Town.

Comedian Rory Bremner has explained that he likes visiting Cape Town because the city “has it all”.

Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Bremner stated “you could spend three different holidays here in the space of ten days”.

Some of the best places to visit on holidays to Cape Town are the wine lands of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Spier, which are all located approximately one hour outside the city, he noted.

The impressionist also pointed out that the scenery is spectacular, with Table Mountain dominating the skyline behind Cape Town.

Following a recent visit to the country, Bremner discovered that there is a “new optimism” within the city, due to the World Cup, which will kick off in South Africa on June 11th.

Cape Town is set to host eight matches within the international football tournament, including one of the semi-finals. The final will be played out in Johannesburg on July 11th.
