A selection of gourmet teas is to be made available to passengers onboard Singapore Airlines flights to Australia and other destinations served by the airline.

Passengers in suites, first class and business class will be able to choose from a range of drinks developed by TWG Tea, a luxury Singaporean brand.

“Our collaboration with TWG Tea began as Singapore Airlines recognised the increasingly sophisticated palates of our customers,” said vice-president of inflight services for the carrier Betty Wong.

President of TWG Tea Taha Bouqdib added that both companies share the values of quality, taste and excellence. TWG Tea has at its core a celebration of Singapore’s history as a trading post for fine teas, spices and other delights.

The selection of teas available to passengers will vary according to the routes followed, so, for example, passengers on flights to Australia may have a different choice to those on flights to Thailand.
