Marriott has opened a new hotel in India in the city of Prune.
The Prune Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre has 416 rooms and has been specially designed to showcase the growing trend of IT innovation in the industry, with the provision of a 24 hour state-of-the-art business centre
Fitness fans taking flights to India may also be tempted by the new hotel’s 10,000 square foot Quan Spa, that is fitted with 13 treatment rooms, a fitness centre and a outdoor heated swimming pool.
“Trends may come and go in lodging, but the focus of Marriott Hotels on real comfort, warm service and genuine people will never go out of style, whether you are in New York, London or Pune, India,” said JW Marriott, chairman and chief executive officer of Marriott International.
Marriott recently announced plans to increase the number of its Indian hotels from 11 to 100 within the next five years, reports the Washington Business Journal.
