JetKonnect will offer improved services to regional flyers by introducing Premiere service on its S2 coded flights. International travellers who book flights to India and look for further domestic connections will now have the luxury of opting for Premiere service.

India’s largest low cost airline, JetKonnect has planned to improve its service by beginning Premiere service onboard its S2 coded flights. The Premiere cabins will be introduced on JetKonnect aircrafts in phases, starting out with the first set of six flights.

These routes include Flight S2 4630 (Bengaluru-Mumbai), S2 4175 (Mumbai-Nagpur), S2 4176 (Nagpur-Mumbai), S2 4455 (Mumbai-Hyderabad) and S2 4456 (Hyderabad-Mumbai).

Domestic travellers as well as international holiday makers taking flights to India and booking cheap flight tickets for their domestic travel on JetKonnect flights will now enjoy more comfort and the reliability of the high-tech Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The tickets for these flights will be put on sale with immediate effect, and travel effective April 17, 2012. These flights are also accessible as code share flights, using the 9W code, reveals the airline’s press release.

From April 18, 2012, JetKonnect will roll out Premiere on JetKonnect S2 flights on its several sectors like Mumbai-Delhi, Kolkata-Guwahati/Delhi/Agartala, Imphal-Guwahati, Mumbai-Aurangabad, Delhi-Bengaluru/Chandigarh, among others.

The press release states that “JetKonnect guests on these flights may now enjoy the airline’s famed Premiere services (identical to that offered by the full-service Jet Airways)- including plush, extra-wide seats, extra legroom, warm service, and personalized, multi-course dining options”.

Jet Airways and Jet Konnect have a total fleet strength of 121 aircraft and operate over 620 flights every day. For its cheap deals, JetKonnect is one of the most popular low cost domestic airlines among not only domestic budget travellers but also international travellers who take cheap flights to India. With its mixed fleet of Boeings and ATR aircraft, JetKonnect operates 400 daily flights linking over 56 destinations across India.

Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, CCO, Jet Airways was quoted as saying, “We are delighted with the strong guest response to the launch of JetKonnect, our dedicated low-fare service. The extension of our Premiere services to certain JetKonnect S2 flights is a step towards product harmonization of the JetKonnect brand, and is in keeping with the increasing demand from our guests for premium services on select routes. We are confident that JetKonnect Premiere, which will be introduced on all JetKonnect Boeing 737 aircraft in a phased manner, will prove extremely popular with guests.”
