Jet Airways Konnect is a new economy class service which will offer guests “attractive and competitive low fares” the airline stated.

The Indian carrier said the only difference to the passenger experience will be that customers will have to purchase their meals on board.

“Consumer demands are changing rapidly in a dynamic global environment and we believe the Jet Airways Konnect service will give us the flexibility and speed to deploy capacity to meet these changing trends,” explained chief commercial officer at Jet Airways Sudheer Raghavan.

Jet Airways currently offers flights to 63 destinations including Bangkok, Dubai and London.

The no-frills Jet Airways Konnect service will fly to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Begaluru in India.
