Etihad will fly daily to Brisbane from February.

People will now find it easier to fly all the way to Brisbane with the laid-back luxury that Etihad provides.

The Abu Dhabi carrier has announced that it plans to more than double its capacity from the emirate to the Australian city by increasing its number of weekly routes from three to seven.

From February 1st Etihad will fly daily to Brisbane and that will mean that the airline now operates 28 flights to Australia.

“We are now able to offer corporate and leisure travellers a more appealing proposition: more flights, more convenience, improved connections and a wider choice of destinations,” said James Hogan, president and chief executive officer of the group.

Campbell Newman, Queensland’s premier, added that Brisbane has lots of great tourist attractions and it was great that many more people will now be able to experience them.

Some of these include the Gabba Cricket Ground Mount Cootha Lookout and Parliament House.
