A month-long shopping festival is coming to the UAE city of Dubai this summer.

Brits looking for some serious retail therapy this summer are advised to book themselves onto flights to Dubai for the UAE city’s month-long shopping extravaganza, Dubai Summer Surprises.

From June 22nd to July 31st, visitors to the emirate will be able to get big reductions in the many malls and shopping centres, with more than seven million expected to attend.

Live shows, children’s activities and competitions will keep the whole family entertained, and you can also relax on the city’s numerous sun-soaked beaches or book into some of the Middle East’s most luxurious spas.

Around 50 malls are expected to take part in the shopping festival and the generous daily giveaways will be worth more than Dh 1 million (£165,000) in total.

Brits looking to book direct flights to Dubai from London Heathrow can choose from a range of operators, including Virgin Atlantic, Emirates and Continental Airlines.
