Actor Nicholas Lyndhurst has said that he would like to take other holidays to Dubai.

Nicholas Lyndhurst has expressed an interest in travelling to Dubai, describing the destination as “extraordinary” in a recent interview.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraphy, Mr Lyndhurst explained why he wants to return to the emirate.

“The people there are great and the service in hotels and restaurants is exquisite. The shopping malls are amazing,” he said.

The Only Fools and Horses star made particular mention of Mall of the Emirates, where there is an indoor ski slope.

He also told the newspaper that the most important part of any holiday is his family, particularly keeping his son Archie entertained.

Dubai has been in the public eye recently following the opening of its tower Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building.

It boasts an observation deck on the 124th floor, which stands at more than 800m tall.

In total, 57 elevators service its levels, which number more than 160.
