Dubai will play host to a record-breaking explorer’s latest exhibition this weekend.

The first Asian woman to skydive over Mount Everest will showcase video and photos from her expeditions in a special event at a Dubai hotel this weekend.

Brits with an adventurous streak are encouraged to book flights to Dubai for this exhibition at the Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina.

Namira Salim is also on record as the first woman from the UAE to complete expeditions to both the North and the South Pole.

Her experiences are catalogued in Beyond the Poles, which will be open to the public on May 20th and 21st.

Discerning travellers can stay at the Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort, which offers five-star luxury near the Palm Jumeirah development.

Facilities on site include tennis courts, a spa and an outdoor swimming pool, as well as three bars and a choice of six restaurants offering a range of international cuisine.
