“Flight information will be updated on the website every five minutes. Emirates apologises for any inconvenience caused,” it added.
The airline also confirmed that its flights to Dubai from London Heathrow are currently departing on time.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Lufthansa confirmed that all of its from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Frankfurt are on schedule.
BAA Heathrow is providing regular updates for travellers via its website, Twitter, text messages and iPhone/Android mobile apps. The airport operator has also confirmed that the government has approved the operation of extra flights overnight from Heathrow.
