Tourists will now find it easier to get around in the UAE.

It is now even easier for tourists to travel around the United Arab Emirates (UAE) than ever before following a new domestic flight in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has reported that a Rotana jet left Abu Dhabi International yesterday and landed at Fujairah International Airport.

In a statement ADAC said: “The inaugural flight follows last week’s announcement about the launch of twice-a-day services to Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah from Abu Dhabi International Airport.”

This would mean that overseas travellers heading into Abu Dhabi international will have a wealth of options available to them if they want to explore the Gulf.

Al Ain in particular is different to what people may expect when landing in the UAE. It is the second-largest city in Abu Dhabi and famed for the amount of lush greenery it has.

Sharjah is the third largest emirate in the country and the site of a human civilization for the past 5,000 years.
