People who have booked flights to Sydney in February may be interested to learn that Kelly Rowland is the latest star to announce her attendance at the event.

Anyone who is planning holidays to Australia this year may want to  include a visit to Sydney in their itinerary.

For any travellers heading to the city in February, the Mardi Gras celebrations will be in full swing.

Kelly Rowland announced today (January 12th) that she will be performing at the after-party for the event.

The former Destiny’s Child singer, who has also had a string of solo hits, will be taking to the stage on February March 6th.

Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton-John and Boy George are among the list of stars who have previously played at the event.

According to the Mardi Gras website, the party will feature “dazzling showstoppers” on “lavish stages” and promises to be “ten hours of non-stop partying”.

French DJ David Guetta is one of the acts that has been officially revealed. He collaborated with Rowland on the hit record When Love Takes Over and is scheduled to play a set at the late-night event.
