People taking flights to Australia during June will be able to enjoy some of the attractions at the Vivid Sydney Festival.

Anyone who arrives in Australia on flights to Sydney over the next month will find that they are able to take advantage of some of the entertainment planned for one of the city’s festivals.

The Vivid Sydney Festival will kickoff on May 27th, with activities scheduled until June 21st.

Described as “an annual festival of music, light and ideas”, visitors to Sydney will be able to enjoy light shows, concerts and creative forums at some of the city’s most iconic locations.

One of the events planned is the Rocks Fire Water show. This free performance will take place on Sydney Harbour, telling the story of the Sydney Cove tall ship using lights, smoke and various sailing boats.

There are several free activities planned throughout the duration of the festival, including Lighting the Sails, which will see the Sydney Opera House lit up in imaginative ways, the New York Genius exhibition of modern and vintage photographs and Music for Dogs, which is the world’s first concert designed specifically for canines.
