In a bid to offer seamless connectivity to global travellers seeking cheap travel tickets on India bound flights, Gulf-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia has recently announced the expansion of its network to India. The operator is all set to increase the frequency of flights from Nagpur to Sharjah from three to four.

The largest city in central India, Nagpur is fast emerging as a popular city in Maharashtra after Mumbai and Pune. Revered as “Tiger Capital of India” and I.T. hub of the state, it is now setting leisure vacationers and business travellers on a mad scramble for tickets on flights arriving here.

“Being the first international airline to fly to Nagpur, we aim to maintain a steady expansion and offer better connectivity to our passengers to the UAE. The decision to add one additional flight is aimed at achieving this objective,” carrier’s chief executive officer Adel Ali said.

“The move highlights the growing importance of Nagpur as an integral market for Air Arabia’s operations”, he further added.

Starting from October 29, 2013, these services will run four times a week offering vast options to Indians as well as Gulf based fliers who seek tickets to fly between both the destinations. These newly introduced services will also benefit the Britons who remain on a constant quest for tickets on connecting flights between UK and India.

Besides, the operator offers tickets to travel to some of the top destinations of India namely, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Coimbatore, Thiruvanathapuram, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, and Goa. It remains the most comprehensive destination network in India by any Middle Eastern carrier.
