Running for more than 40 years, this regatta for ocean going yachts attracts lots of sailors and thousands of spectators from various countries. On the five days of competitive racing, the yachts race for around 3 to 4 hours. The yachts run out from two harbours on the south coast of Antigua, English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour.

The event days are incomplete without partying and socialising. On each day of the racing event, participants and spectators gather for post-race debates with beer at Beer garden, Antigua Yacht Club. Awards are distributed too each day for all classes of sailors. The after-race parties are really fun to attend.

A big party is organised at the end of Day 3 where you can enjoy a lively night. Listen to live music from local and international artists, eat delicious food, and gulp down discounted drinks. Another bug party is organised after the final day of racing. The event ends with the final prize distribution ceremony which is followed by drinks, party, great food, and more.
